Besides being a tribute to one of my favourite foods (Döner), I took this project as an opportunity to practice realistic material-making in Substance Designer, and use methods such as material layer blends alongside POM and displacement mapping to further push realism. Aside from the recycling bin, road signs and leaves, all other materials in this project were created in Substance Designer. All forms of damage, grunge, colour variation, and puddles were achieved directly in Unreal 5 through manipulating material layers, a variety of blends, and through vertex painting. The graffiti and posters I made and added via decals with a parameter to adjust their wear amount.

A big thank-you to Javier Perez, for his incredibly insightful help across this whole project!
